We are proud to offer 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stringray L46 convertible. It is a true, number's matching L46-350ci/350 horsepower equipped with power steering, M20 4-speed manual transmission, tilt/telescopic steering column, AM/FM pushbutton radio, and 3.70 Posi-traction! Original paint color is 974- Monza Red with interior code ZQ4- Black Vinyl (restoring with leather seating today). This extremely original car has just 60,309 actual miles on a complete cosmetic exterior and interior restoration. It was professionally frame-up restored in 2014 starting with a complete body repaint by Kent Hammon of Mascoutah, IL. Then, all new interior carpet, seat upholstery, door panels, white convertible top, and weather stripping were replaced; refinished the original rally wheels; brake system received new master cylinder with rebuilt calipers(4) along with new brake pads & hoses, new rear brake line; wiper vacuum actuator; rear exhaust pipes with new mufflers; and rear leaf spring bushings were installed.
During that same period, the original engine was fully rebuilt by Dennis Marshall, receiving only necessary line honing to install fresh piston rings, gaskets, valve job with hardened valve seats, and ignition components to keep it in excellent tune and running condition! All fluids are changed annually, and new BF Goodrich Radial redline tires were installed in the Spring of 2018. It will still have the original LOF etched glass with correct Astro-ventilation side glass. Under the hood, you will see the correct GM hoses with tower clamps, finned aluminum valve covers, clutch fan, chrome air cleaner and correct ignition shielding.
